A leading manufacturer and worldwide marketer of travel and outdoor accessories, Lewis N. Clark began losing its foothold within the category, due to an oversaturation of competitive brands. The challenge to DRC was to reinvent the brand to become more relevant with younger consumers, and distance itself from competitors by creating a memorable brand experience that lives up to the great products it represents.

Inspiring adventure became our priority, and we quickly uncovered that every person has his or her own vision of what adventure is. Capturing that idea through the “Window To The World” brandmark, allowed DRC to flex the design system and create a design language that resonates with any traveler. Borrowing design cues from a traditional boarding pass, we created a unique and ownable design that is contemporary and more relevant with a younger audience. The final result is a flexible system that works across 150 SKUs and easily translates to many different packaging substrates and orientations.
